The Wally Byam Caravan Club International (WBCCI) is an organization for the owners of Airstream trailers and Airstream RVs. The club is named after Wally Byam, founder of the Airstream company and the designer of early Airstream trailers. The club is organized by geographic regions and by locality within region, although it is not necessary to reside in a specific region or locality to join a given unit. The DC unit has members from as far away as California to the west and London, England to the East. Both regular and affiliate memberships are available to anyone who owns an Airstream.
The Washington, DC unit, Unit 170, the newest of the WBCCI units is affiliated with WBCCI Region 2 which covers the northeastern US. We are the first new unit of the WBCCI in over 20 years and are trying to attract younger airstreamers, especially those who are working and/or have families with children. The majority of our members have older (vintage) trailers and may be members of the Vintage Airstream Club (VAC) as well.
The Moores will host the "Mount Washington" Rally (MWR) August 9-12, 2001 at a campground in the beautiful Mount Washington Valley in North Conway, New Hampshire.
