Our agency is located in Northwest Pennsylvania and offers a wide variety of community based services including; mental health, mental retardation, education and prevention services. As a nonprofit agency established in 1984, The Guidance Center employs a staff of approximately 200. Although the majority of services are based in McKean County, some specialized services extend into other neighboring communities.

EDUCATION AND PREVENTION SERVICES
| SCAN/PEP - Home based education for developmentally delayed children under three years. Also provides speech, occupational and physical therapy. |
| RAPPORT - Health education, prevention and counseling for pregnant and parenting women and their partners/families. |
| Big Brothers Big Sisters - Matching adults with children needing stability and companionship. |
| Family Centers - Family support and prevention programs through home visits and group activities. |
| Parents As Teachers Program - Home based parenting program and playgroups. |
